Moscow resident Illa Keech died on Feb. 11, 1990 at Kingston General Hospital at the age of 71, following a brief illness.
She was the daughter of Alfred Watson and Lena Wagar and was born in Portland Twp.
Ila lived in Moscow for 46 years as a housewife. She was also a member of the Enterprise United Church, Moscow United Church, Moscow UCW and the Enterprise Seniors Group. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
She is survived by husband Everett Keech, son Arthur and wife Fae, grandson Scott and sister Mrs. Bert Cassidy (Freda).
Funeral services were held on Feb 15 at the Hannah Funeral Home in Tamworth with Rev. Robert Wallace officiating. Pallbearers were Jack Bell, Jack Cronk, Harry Hambrook, Jim Burns, Bill Pathuis and Harold Bell. Interment wil be in the spring at the Moscow Cemetery.
