"In the name of God Amen
This is the last will of Mr John Freeman of the Township of Loughborough in the county of Frontenac.
First, I give, devise, and bequeath to my beloved wife Jane Freeman that portion of my dwelling house in the Township of Loughborough in which she now lives. To hold the same during her natural life and no longer.
Secondly, I give, devise, and bequeath to my said wife all and ? my household furniture, ?, cows, sheep, hogs, all my wagons, carriages, ?, ?, notes, ? and ? of which I may die ? except the sum of one hundred pounds herein after divided to seven of my children or the survivors of them at the time of the decease of my said wife.
Thirdly, I give, devise, and bequeath to my son,John Killborn Freeman, his heirs, and ???? the whole of my ???? subject to the occupation of his brother of ? the dwelling house ? and a garden spot and half of an acre of land of my said farmduring his natural life.
Fourthly, I give and devise to my said wife the sum of seventy dollars ? to be paid by my said son John Killborn Freeman during her natural life and I ? charge the estate devised to ? with the ??.
Fifthly, I give, devise, and bequeath to my said wife, the feed of one horse and one cow which my said son John Killborn to supply and also ? for one hive for the use of my said wife.
Sixthly, I give, devise, and bequeath to my children ? ? after ?, the sum of fourteen hundred dollars that is to say William R Freeman, Peter W Freeman, Joseph Freeman, Barnabus C Freeman, Sarah ?, Amarilla Elizabeth, and ? Jane ? to be equally divided between them or ? of them as may survive my said wife, in the following manner that is to say the sum of five hundred dollars to be divided between them equally in one year after the death of my said wife, and the sum of one hundred dollars each year thereafter until the said sum of fourteen hundred dollars should be fully paid and satisfied.
Seventhly, I ? charge my said real estate devised to my said son John Killborn with the ?? of the sum of one thousand dollars to ? the said ?? the ?? of the last ? legacies the said one thousand dollars to be paid as follows, one hundred dollars in one year after the death of my said wife and the like sum each year thereafter until the said sum of one thousand dollars ? paid off in full.
Eighthly, I give, devise, and bequeath to my daughter Emiline ? al my ? and ? to the ? ??? of Loughborough ?.
Ninthly, I give to my said son John Killborn the rest and residue of my said real and personal estate should any such exist after the payments of the legacies.
Tenthly, I appoint my said wife Jane Freeman, William Lake of Storrington ? and George Hawker of Loborough ??? and executors of this my last will."
